Book Description
Excerpt from Thirty-Ninth Annual Report of St. Luke's Hospital: From October 1, 1901 to September 30, 1902 We desire to express our grateful appreciation of the liberality and interest shown by the friends of the Hospital, which has enabled us to close another year without deficit in current accounts, with additions made to the facilities for doing the work of the Hospital, and with the mortgage indebtedness reduced. The expenditures for the current expenses of the Hos pital have increased this year over last, five per cent; the work done as shown by the number of patient days has increased twelve per cent; and, as stated, the expenditure has been entirely met from receipts intended for current needs during the year with a credit balance of $17 4. This is the third year in succession that we have been able to make this showing and we trust that it will strengthen the faith and increase the energy of the friends of St. Luke's. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Find more at www.forgottenbooks.com This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Forgotten Books uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy.
