Russia's invasion of Ukraine has forced 7.9 million Ukrainians to flee the country, and internally displaced another 5.9 million, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution condemning the invasion and demanding a full withdrawal of Russian forces. Pope Francis has also denounced the "wake of death and destruction" caused by Russia's nearly-year-long offensive in Ukraine, describing the war as "a crime against God and humanity". He said attacks on civilian infrastructure were causing deaths "not only from gunfire and acts of violence but also from hunger and freezing cold." "Every act of war directed to the indiscriminate destruction of whole cities or vast areas with their inhabitants is a crime against God and humanity which merits firm and unequivocal condemnation." Furthermore, the International Criminal Court has opened an investigation into crimes against humanity in Ukraine. Robert Mugabe KCB is about two countries forced into one by British imperialistic interests, cemented by the optimism of African nationalism and plundered by the wrath of Africa’s longest serving tyrant. It traces 19th Century King Mzilikazi and his peoples’ settlement in Matabeleland, through the colonization of Mashonaland in 1890, the destruction and occupation of the Ndebele State in 1893 by the B.
