How do you know if you should enter into the Gospel ministry? Although this is a plain subject in its matter, it is exceedingly difficult in its practical application. Modest, humble, pious men are very apt to be deterred from all thoughts of entering the ministry, while others of doubtful piety, having a spice of self-conceit, and a dash of forwardness, frequently derive encouragement from such things.
