Book Description
Probably one of the most well- known characters in the Bible is David. He grew up a shepherd boy and defeated a giant named Goliath and then went on to be King of Israel. While king, David made some serious mistakes. However, David didn't try to place the blame on other people. He took responsibility and shouldered the blame himself. By doing this, he was described by God as a "man after His own heart." In this book, you will learn that God has a good plan for every individual. But sometimes you can thwart that plan by your own desire to fulfill certain desires and dreams but God's grace can bring you back to the plan that God has for you. Even though David made some mistakes and even cost people their lives, he repented and was able to turn the direction of those mistakes to want to serve the Lord. God's grace is evident through the entire life of David. Rather than having to go through your own hard knocks, the author encourages the reader to learn from these life lessons from David

Book Description
This book is about how God took me from trials to different victories. How each person that reads this book will know by their Faith in God will take them from trials to victories too. Just trust in God, focus on God and He will bring you out protected, provided for and most of all to a higher level in Him. These lessons are for those that need guidance. We have too many people taking their own lives and God wants His children to know that He created them with gifts that could change the world, if they aren't here to do what they were sent here to do, their gifts are missing from the world. Only that person or people could do the mission that God sent them to do. So we all lose when people take their own lives. So, see the signs, pray, and talk to God that they don't take their own lives. We don't want anyone to not serve the world with their gifts. "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8) We give the adversary permission when we don't pay attention to sinful things that come our way. Even when we don't control our tongues when others talk about others. Put a filter in our mouths- Lord!. Do understand as you read each lesson, I keep each lesson as a lesson for me first to learn and hold onto, lest I forget what God has taught me. We are all still being worked on by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes, the simplest lessons are the hardest ones to teach. Life is very precious and we are all wrapped as a gift to this world. What we do with these gifts is a gift to the world and God. God, Our Father, gives us so many chances. We cannot even count them. Thank you Father for the chances. May we all see the lessons this book is teaching us.

Book Description
Amazing (Furry) Lessons from a Dog’s Life You’ll be enthralled by this story of a man and his lovable Labrador retriever, Hannah, and what their canine friendship can show us about life, grace, and long walks in the park. Hannah was Dave’s best friend. He couldn’t imagine starting a day without her tail wagging an energetic greeting, her body wiggling with sheer gratitude when her food dish was filled, and her unbridled enthusiasm for tennis balls. (How she fit three tennis balls in her mouth at once he’ll never know.) So when Dave first learned of Hannah’s cancer diagnosis, he decided to take whatever time he had left with Hannah to cherish the moments and capture his thoughts in a journal. As he wrote about his canine friend, he soon realized that Hannah was an able (and furry) mentor of faith, grace, kindness, and forgiveness. The lessons were invaluable: from being present to trusting the master. When Hannah lived well past the expected time frame, Dave started to see that the insights he was gaining were more than just journal entries about a family pet. Through Hannah’s antics, God was preparing Dave for life itself. You won’t want to miss this heartwarming tale of a dog who knew how to live . . . and showed her owner how.

Book Description
The tree in my front yard has green leaves, if a voice is telling me they are blue; the voice is lying to me. The rose bush has pink flowers, if a voice is telling me they are brown; the voice is lying. The lilac has lavender flowers, green leaves, the stems are gray; if I am told anything different; the voice is lying. If I go to God in prayer, and a voice is telling me something contrary to what God's written Word says; the voice is lying and it isn't God speaking to me. Even Jesus when His ministry started, being tempted by the devil, had a voice telling Him something contrary to what God's Word says. In Luke 4:4 Jesus responded to the devil, "No! The Scripture says." Please don't just listen to any voice. What does scripture say? If it is God's voice you are hearing, it will have God's Word as its witness. God doesn't lie, God will not tell you it is okay to do something contrary to His Word. This is how we know what God is saying, which will be different from what the devil is saying. God's written Word confirms what we are hearing. The Lessons God Taught a Simple Man, comes from moments like this. I spent time listening to God and aligning it with His Word. Then I followed His direction and put it to pen. This book was written with a desire to share what God has taught me. I wanted you to know that you are not alone. God will speak to you, as He spoke to me. May the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ cause you to abound unto every good work. Those that have ears, let them hear. Richard Durdel loves Jesus Christ, the Son of Living God, who is his Lord and Savior with his whole heart. In the 1980's, Richard went to college but didn't graduate. He has some education, however, he by no means is a theologian. Richard considers himself to be blue collar, as many of you that read this book may be. The words written down may not always flow fluently but they are the words that God has given him. Richard prays you understand as he has understood.

Book Description
"I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there's purpose and worth to each and every life." —Ronald Reagan Noted political commentator Michael Reagan, the son of Ronald Reagan and first wife Jane Wyman, has traveled across America, giving speeches and meeting the public. Time and time again, people tell him how much they love and miss his father, and what his presidency meant to them. In a world where role models are few and far between, Ronald Reagan’s legacy stands strong. In Lessons My Father Taught Me, Michael Reagan looks back over his years with his father and reflects on what he has learned from the greatest man he has ever known—and one of the greatest men the world has known. When Michael was growing up, his father would drive him out to his ranch. There Ronald Reagan taught Michael how to ride a horse, how to shoot a gun, and much more. As they drove together or did chores together, Michael’s father told him stories and taught him about life, love, family, faith, success, and leadership. Michael didn’t fully appreciate those lessons at the time, but years later he remembered—and he understood. Now, Michael Reagan shares his father’s wisdom and experience in this inspiring book.
