David Sage was likely born 1639 in England or Wales. He immigrated to America sometime prior to the year 1663 and settled in Middletown, Connecticut. He first married Elizabeth Kirby who was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Elizabeth died and David then married Mary (surname unknown) in September of 1671. He was the father of seven children and died 31 March 1702 in Middletown, Connecticut. Descendants lived primarily in Connecticut.
