Excerpt from The Gospel of John: An Exposition In each section the text of the American Standard Revised version is given first, then some suggestive com ment which should be enlarged and; supplemented, and then follow some questions for personal reflection and for discussion in the class. These questions are not at all meant to be exhaustive. They are merely suggestive. R. The student should master the content of each paragraph of the Gospel so that at the end he can review in his memory the whole story of the Gospel. To this end each lesson should include a quick review of the sub stance of the Gospel from the beginning. 2.
