Este libro producto de investigación invita a emplear las tecnologías en la educación y hace un llamado de atención a la comunidad educativa, específicamente a las entidades educativas, para que consideren y resignifiquen sus prácticas con el valor social que merecen. Para ello, es necesario colocarse en el lugar del otro, para no excluirlo, y educar desde las fortalezas del educando, no desde sus debilidades. En tal sentido, este trabajo presenta un modelo sui generis basado en un amplio marco teórico para un contexto escolar carente de inclusión social. Estos fundamentos hacen un aporte a partir de conceptos, características, posibilidades y discusiones para brindar recomendaciones de implementación de las tecnologías en la educación, en una era del conocimiento en la que se ha avanzado mucho en políticas inclusivas, pero muy poco en prácticas inclusivas. Por ende, esta obra pretende ser un puente entre la doctrina y la praxis para que en las instituciones pueda materializarse una práctica educativa integradora. Tecnologías educativas para la inclusión nos muestra que la integración de estas herramientas tecnológicas permitirá fortalecer los procesos educativos, más aún cuando se trata de estudiantes con capacidades diferenciales, y facilitará la enseñanza y el aprendizaje al hacerlos más motivadores y eficaces.
