Book Description
Since the publication of the Atharva-Veda by Roth and Whitney in 1856, it has been subjected to various types of studies- interpretative, historical, religious and cultural. But a comparative study embracing all the aspects of the language of the Atharva-Veda has so far remained untouched. The present work is a grammatical study of the language of the fourth Veda. Though mainly concerned with the Saunaka recenison of the Atharva-Veda, the author has also taken note of the linguistic peculiarities found in the paippalad recension. The authro has taken great pains to make a comprehensive and scholarly study of this important Hindu Scripture contributing in no small measure to the field of language and linguistics.

Book Description
The finest ghazals of Mir Taqi Mir, the most accomplished of Urdu poets. The prolific Mir Taqi Mir (1723–1810), widely regarded as the most accomplished poet in Urdu, composed his ghazals—a poetic form of rhyming couplets—in a distinctive Indian style arising from the Persian ghazal tradition. Here, the lover and beloved live in a world of extremes: the outsider is the hero, prosperity is poverty, and death would be preferable to the indifference of the beloved. Ghazals offers a comprehensive collection of Mir’s finest work, translated by a renowned expert on Urdu poetry.

Book Description
A Vedic Concordance is a monumental work by the famous American Sanskritist Maurice Bloomfield planned prepared and published during the years 1892-1906. It affords primarily an easy and ready means of ascertaining the following things: First where a given mantra occurs if it occurs but once second whether it occurs wlsewhere either with or without variants and in what places and third if it occurs with variants what those variants are. One hundred and nineteen texts in all have been drawn upon for contributions to the concordance comprising .The concordance also includes a very considerable amount of material not yet published. The concordance may also be readily put to certain indirect or secondary uses which are scarcely less important for the systematic progress of vedic study.
