He received his Doctorate in Family psychology from Seton Hall University in New Jersey in 2008. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University. This book is based on the importance of strengthening couples to embrace both stability and satisfaction. The participants who contributed to this book shared their life experiences and made suggestions for others about how to stablish and maintain stability and satisfaction in marriage. Every marriage is unique and at the same time there are many things to learn from one another. The contributions of the participants (male and female) are presented in a form of a life cycle, starting with how to discern the vocation to marriage life, the openness to finding a suitable partner, how to use productively the time of courtship and making the commitment to enter into a heterosexual marriage. Additional phases after the wedding are also presented in a framework that helps the reader to reflect about his/her own journey of marriage. Single versus dual career marriages are discussed in detail in this book. Relationship with in-laws, and intercultural marriages as well as parenting skills, including children with special needs. Additional themes include ways which enable parents not only parenting their own children, but also planning how to live in stable and satisfactory marriage before and after the children leave home, or even when they return. Some of the challenges that the participants shared and how they resolved them include situations of infertility, recovering from marital infidelity, and widowhood after the death of one of the spouses. Marital stability and satisfaction is presented with many themes, including preparation for a dignified retirement and hope for eternal life in Heaven.
