Dans ce travail de recherche, nous proposons une approche d'optimisation multicritères basée sur la simulation pour la conception optimale des chaînes logistiques dans un contexte dynamique et incertain. Cette approche comprend un module d'optimisation basé sur des algorithmes génétiques multicritères et un module de simulation permettant l'évaluation de la chaîne étudiée au cours de l'optimisation. L'optimisation concerne à la fois la configuration de la chaîne logistique et le système de pilotage de ses différentes activités (approvisionnement, production, stockage, transport, etc.). Ce système est caractérisé par des règles opérationnelles et leurs paramètres de contrôle pour la prise de décision durant la simulation. L'algorithme génétique explore les solutions candidates intéressantes (configuration de la chaîne + règles de pilotage) dont les performances sont automatiquement évaluées par le simulateur. La paramétrisation du module de simulation prend en compte les incertitudes liées à la demande, à la production, au stockage et à la distribution. Pour la validation de notre approche, deux cas d'études, proposés respectivement par deux partenaires du projet européen ONE de l'industrie automobile et textile, sont présentés. L'objectif du premier cas d'étude est de reconfigurer une partie du réseau actuel de production et de distribution de notre partenaire automobile. Proposé par notre partenaire de l'industrie textile, le deuxième cas d'étude est dédié au problème de choix des fournisseurs dans un environnement dynamique et stochastique. L'objectif est de déterminer la meilleure sélection des fournisseurs, des modes de transport utilisés ainsi que certains paramètres de contrôle liés au pilotage de la chaîne étudiée.

Face à un contexte de production en constante évolution, les constructeurs automobiles doivent maîtriser leur logistique d'approvisionnement. Aujourd'hui, sa complexité rend difficile l'évaluation globale de sa performance, de la commande d'un véhicule jusqu'à sa livraison au client. Nos travaux v.eulent contribuer à l'amélioration globale de la flexibilité de la logistique et de la réactivité face aux aléas d'approvisionnements. Nous proposons alors une modélisation des flux logistiques à des fins d'évaluation. Dans le cadre d'une approche systémique un méta-modèle UML des flux est proposé puis instancié sur la chaîne logistique d'approvisionnement PSA. Des indicateurs de flux pertinents sont ensuite proposés pour l'évaluation globale des performances d'un système logistique. Cette modélisation est implémentée dans une plateforme de simulation (SimAppro) de toute la logistique d'approvisionnement de PSA, connectée aux systèmes d'informations propriétaires. Nous proposons et mettons en oeuvre ensuite une démarche de validation de l'outil. Enfm nous avons effectué une application industrielle de nos travaux. Son but est d'apporter une réponse pour la juste sécurisation des stocks sans altération de la qualité de service. Les résultats obtenus par le biais de deux heuristiques simples (aspect décisionnel) couplés avec le simulateur SimAppro (évaluation) laissent à penser qu'il est possible de diminuer globalement les niveaux de sécurisation des stocks constituants tout en améliorant le nombre de véhicules « bons» en sortie des lignes de montage.

Why does the tiny island-nation of Singapore handle a fifth of the world's maritime containers and half the world's annual supply of crude oil? Which jobs can replace lost manufacturing jobs in advanced economies? Some of the answers to these questions are rooted in the phenomenon of logistics clusters—geographically concentrated sets of logistics-related business activities. In this book, supply chain management expert Yossi Sheffi explains why Memphis, Singapore, Chicago, Rotterdam, Los Angeles, and scores of other locations have been successful in developing such clusters while others have not.
