Bound scrapbook consisting primarily of newspaper clippings regarding of President Abraham Lincoln's assassination, as well as his funeral, the search for and apprehension of the conspiritors, and the subsequent trial, along with accounts of the conclusion of the U.S. Civil War. The final third of the scrapbook, while still containing some Lincoln material, consists of a more general array of newspaper clippings, including President Andrew Johnson's impeachment trial, as well as numerous humor pieces. The scrapbook was bound by J.B. Sandlin of Valparaiso, Indiana, but no provenance information is available.

Edwards and printed in color in the magazine of the Sunday record-herald (Chicago), 29 May 1910.
