Hic liber a Benedictinis, qui eum parum diligenter contulerunt, certe nimis aestimatus etsi iam quaedam interpolationis uestigia magis manifesta prodit, tamen. Si subsidiorum in hoc Hilarii opere recensendo condi cionem modo delineatam spectas, ne a nobisquidem erat spernendus, cum in nonnullis partibus, nelut psalmi CXXXIIII, ubi alii nos destituunt uetustissimus nunc nobis sit testis atque in rebus a prima manu exaratis multa contineat, quae ad textus historiam, quam dicunt errorumque originem inlustrandam sint utilia.
