Book Description
The tranquil beauty of a morning sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean is in direct contrast to the savage acts taking place beneath the water's surface. Powerful tails propel half-ton blue marlin at nearly 50 mph, as their bills slash at baitfish. The razor-sharp teach of wahoo cut unsuspecting prey in half. And these predators become the hunted, when anglers venture forth in Offshore Pursuit. Experience what the ultimate sport fishing has to offer: surface eruptions on trolled baits, rods bent in half, drags screaming, and adrenaline pumping. Whether you call blue water your regular fishing grounds or want to experience the thrill for the first time, don't leave success in the hands of Lady Luck. Knowledge and experience are necessary to produce results, and Offshore Pursuit has the information you need to catch big game fish in offshore waters. What baits each species prefers, methods of trolling, types of spreads, how to chunk for tuna, and when and how to use a kite are all covered in detail. Proven methods learned through years of experience are clearly explained to help you catch more fish. From rigging techniques to tips on how to fight trophy fish, it's all in this book.

Book Description
The Stories of Building the Black Beach Community of Ocean City, North Carolina shares a provocative story about a small Black beach community on North Topsail Island, North Carolina. Hope Jackson argues that stories like these not only offer a rich, untold perspective about Black lives, but also shares the depth of this Black community despite originating under the threat of violence in the segregated South. Brick by Brick acknowledges the defiance of a group of Black individuals who, collectively, provided a recreational oceanfront haven. These radical Black folks created a safe harbor for Blacks to visit, live, worship, and recreate in the midst of de facto segregation. The author reveals an embedded narrative which highlights the rebelliousness of Ocean City women’s strategic mothering. Jackson shares how the impact of this location extended beyond a vacation by creating Christian worship opportunities and an Episcopal summer youth camp for Black youth. The Ocean City stories remind readers that despite Jim Crow’s demise, the need for a safe, recreational space remains necessary for Black people in today’s society.

Book Description
"When the Walkers journeyed to Ocean City, Maryland, it was to enjoy summers filled with target practice on the beach, hunting the abundant waterfowl, fishing, boating, picnicking, and bathing in the ocean. In 1908, William and Nannie Letitia Walker purchased a lot from the Sinepuxent Beach Company of Baltimore and built a small hunting lodge that, by 1910, had become a sturdy cottage. The Walkers named their summer home, which still stands at the corner of Baltimore Avenue and Seventh Street, "Romarletta," for their children Robert, Margaret, and Letitia.".

Book Description
If one wants to begin to understand the GULAG, he would read anyone of at least 131 books such as; - My twenty-two prisons and My Escape from Solovetski, 1929, by Bezonov, Eliuriai Dimitrevich - Red Gaols, a Woman's Experiences in Russian Prisons, 1935, by author did not want to be identified. - Prisoner of the OGPU, 1935, by Kitechin, George. - An Account of the Construction of the New Canal between the White Sea and the Baltic Sea, 1935, by Maxim Gorky, and 30 writers. Many people refer to the book The Gulag Archipelago, 1974, by Solzenitsyn, I., as "the" book on the GULAG partly from his experience and research thereof. The author started with a simple expression written about John W. Adkins: "He left home at an early age, and never returned home age". There was literally no information about him. Most people, familiar with my work, have been totally amazed at the amount of the information, documents, obtained by the author from the archives on one individual. After many years of work, the author did not want to leave this material to just a research project sitting on the bookshelf.
