La présente étude consiste à analyser le renouvellement d'air, le mouvement d'air et les concentrations de polluants dans deux tours d'habitation à Montréal, afin de déterminer le niveau de confort des occupants et de déceler la présence de problèmes associés à la qualité de l'air intérieur, s'il y a lieu. Cette étude a été réalisée selon trois axes: une étude d'infiltrométrie, une analyse préliminaire par un expert en mécanique du bâtiment et une analyse des polluants chimiques et microbiens. L'étude d'infiltrométrie démontre que les deux édifices laissent pénétrer une grande quantité d'air extérieur, dépassant largement les valeurs suggérées par l'IRC (Institute de recherche en construction). L'analyse préliminaire permet de visiter toutes les pièces techniques et quelques logements dans chaque bâtiment. Cette visite a permis d'identifier les endroits à plus grand ....
