No Brasil, a grande contradição é ser um país democrático de direito, mas ao mesmo tempo vivenciamos uma sociedade pautada pela exclusão e eliminação do outro. Precisamos construir uma cultura de respeito aos direitos humanos das pessoas, com este trabalho queremos contribuir para o fortalecimento e desenvolvimento de uma educação fundamentada e respalda nos Direitos Humanos, que valorize e respeite as diferenças com um grande objetivo de construir uma sociedade democrática, justa e humana. Uma sociedade onde todos possam ser respeitados em suas diferenças na igualdade e a igualdade na diferença. Somos diferentes mas, ao mesmo tempo, somos iguais. A escola, como espaço privilegiado para a construção e consolidação da cultura de direitos humanos, deve assegurar que os objetivos e as práticas a serem adotados sejam coerentes com os valores e princípios da educação em direitos humanos.
