Tesis Doctoral / Disertación del año 2010 en eltema Pedagogía - Otras, , Idioma: Español, Resumen: En esta investigación se estudió la violencia escolar a nivel de Educación Primaria, en primer lugar, para conocer los significados que asignan los docentes a la violencia escolar entre pares, percibidos en su entorno cotidiano laboral. En segundo lugar, para establecer la relación de la violencia escolar con el entorno familiar y social de los estudiantes. Finalmente, conocer los significados que asignan algunos padres y representantes a la relación violencia escolar-violencia familiar, en cuanto a como inculcan en los niños valores morales. La metodología que se empleó fue cualitativa, sustentada en el paradigma de investigación social: construccionismo social o socioconstruccionismo, donde se utilizó el estudio de caso como método de investigación de carácter cualitativo y las técnicas de observación participante y la entrevista en profundidad para conocer los relatos de los docentes, padres y representantes que emergieron en el trabajo de campo. Asimismo, la clasificación de la información recopilada requirió el ajuste de categorías iniciales dando origen a categorías fundamentales como son: violencia escolar entre pares, valores morales y violencia familiar. Por último, la compresión e interpretación de los hallazgos encontrados se efectuó a través de la construcción de un supuesto que surgió del socioconstruccionismo de Gergen (1996), teniendo en cuenta el entorno social, la historia y la cultura de los actores sociales involucrados en la investigación de la violencia y los valores en educación primaria.
