El debate en la Flacso México que se realizó por parte de los expertos en el tema sobre la reciente reforma educativa, ha hecho visible que se trata de una reforma que, además de imbricar aspectos técnicos y políticos, ha dado un lugar estratégico a la Ley General del Servicio Profesional Docente. Estas decisiones se explican porque la apuesta gubernamental consiste en detonar cambios en la calidad educativa a través de la ruta aparentemente técnica de la profesionalización docente.
