This report presents the results of an Air Force Occupational Survey of the F-15 Avionics Test Station and Components career ladder, Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 2AOX1A. Authority for conducting occupational surveys is contained in AFI 36-2623. Computer products used in this report are available for use by operations and training officials. The survey instrument was developed by 1Lt Chris Gilliam. Computer programming support was provided by Mr. Tyrone Hill. Mr. James A. Earles. analyzed the data and wrote the final report. This report has been reviewed and approved by Lt Col Roger W. Barnes, Chiet, Airman Analysis Section, Occupational Analysis Flight, Air Force Occupational Measurement Squadron (AFOMS). Copies of this report are distributed to Air Staff sections, major commands, and other interested training and management personnel.

This report presents the results of an occupational survey of the F-15 Avionics Test Station and Component Specialist career ladder completed by the USAF Occupational Measurement Center in November 1989. An important part of the OSR process involves the analysis of job satisfaction data. These data can be used by career ladder managers to gain a better understanding of those factors affecting job performance of AFSC 451x4 personnel. This report displays job satisfaction indicators for AFSC 451x4 TAFMS groups and a comparative sample of other mission equipment maintenance personnel career ladders surveyed in 1988. It compares the job satisfaction indicators and reenlistment intentions for the current survey and the previous AFSC 326XX surveys.
