M., and after prayer, led by A. J. Preston, the subject of Missions was taken up and discussed by Bro. Cleveland. A collection was then taken amounting to $16, which was divided equally between the State, Home and Foreign Boards. Delegates from each of the following churches agreed to try to rais: 37 cents per member during this associational year: Abbeville, Adoniram, Beulah, Christian Grove, Center Enon, Friendship, Harmony, Hebron, Oaky Grove, Old Zion, Pleasant Grove, Shorterville and Smyrna. Malone, using as a text a part of the 18th, 19th, and 2oth verses of the thirty-eighth chapter of Matthew: All pow er is given unto me in heaven and in earth; go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. And at the close there was a collection taken up for the benefit of Sister Rogers amounting to eigh teen dollars and fifty cents. Prayer by Bro. R. B. Lee.
