Since that time, the various agricultural types (unit species) which make up these varieties have been grown for some years in pure culture at Pusa and have been studied in considerable detail. The present paper deals with 122 of these agricultural types of common wheat (triticum vulgare Vill.) belonging to twelve botanical varieties, three of which do not appear to have been described.
