Book Description
This USMC manual, Marine Corps Reference Publication MCRP 2-10A.9 Air Intelligence January 2021, is dedicated entirely to intelligence support to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force's (MAGTF) Aviation Combat Element (ACE). It provides tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) for air intelligence in support of the ACE and the MAGTF. MCRP 2-10A.9 Air Intelligence describes the unique aspects of intelligence support to the ACE and MAGTF relating to the enemy, weather, and terrain impacting the air domain. It includes doctrinal and scientific fundamentals, multidiscipline intelligence support to the ACE, frameworks for analyzing and understanding enemy air and air defense systems, and guidance on supporting the ACE and MAGTF commander's planning, decision-making, execution, and assessments cycle. This publication sets the foundation for training requirements, formal schools, organizational structure, and, most importantly, how we provide intelligence support to the ACE and MAGTF in combat. As such, it represents only a starting point and must be continually updated as the state of the art changes. Its users must continue to validate its contents and make recommended changes when more effective techniques or processes are developed.

Book Description
The history of Jackson County brims with colorful characters and noteworthy episodes nearly lost to time. Jackson abolitionists used their barns, houses and hidden compartments to harbor freedom seekers traveling on the Underground Railroad. One even repelled an armed posse from Kentucky. A prominent druggist murdered his mother in 1889 and a jail guard in 1893. Evidence suggests he murdered his father too. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt traveled to Brown's Lake for relaxation in 1935, but a media mob had other plans. A popular Blackman Township roadhouse has a longstanding tradition of entertaining pioneers, stagecoach drivers and mobsters, but its secret guests are even stranger. Join local historian Linda Hass as she delves into these and other entertaining and often-overlooked stories.

This publication is intended for commanders, intelligence consumers, and personnel who plan and execute intelligence operations. Force Design 2030 informs this update to doctrine with the intention that it be updated again in five years, as the Marine Corps of 2030 achieves initial operational capability and refines concepts through the campaign of learning. MCWP 2-10 integrates lessons learned from nearly two decades of continuous combat operations, addresses operations across the competition continuum in mature and immature theaters, and incorporates key elements from the Tentative Manual for Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations. Readers can expect additional revisions driven by rapid advances in data analytics and experimentation using the expeditionary advanced base operations concept and a force designed and optimized for great power competition against pacing threats. By integrating new concepts and technologies, as well as lessons learned from future expeditionary advanced base operations experimentation or operational application, MCWP 2-10 will remain a relevant resource for preparing Marines to execute effective intelligence operations in support of the naval force.
