The question’s not stated, only implied.” In 2013, the Italian government implemented Mare Nostrum, an operation intended to limit immigration from Africa and the Middle East to European countries. Al principio le cuesta encontrar carga. Cuando estalla la Primera guerra mundial, todo cambia, la guerra exige abastecimiento de mercancías y el Mare Nostrum navega siempre cargado. La trama continúa con numerosas peripecias: Ulises se enamora de una mujer misteriosa en Nápoles, recorre el Mediterráneo en plena guerra y se encuentra con veteranos de la batalla de Salónica. Marsella, Barcelona son también el telón de fondo de sus aventuras.
