Une traînée de condensation (TC) d'avion se forme lorsque l'air de la haute troposphère est assez froide et humide. La persistance d'une TC est déterminée lorsque la vapeur d'eau traverse un premier changement de phase qui est la condensation de la vapeur en eau, puis un second changement de phase qui est la condensation de la vapeur en glace. La TC va se disperser et pourra former un cirrus si les conditions ambiantes sont sursaturées en glace. Le degré de dispersion est déterminé par l'étendue des masses d'air sursaturées en glace et par le niveau d'humidité relative. C'est lorsque qu'une TC persiste qu'elle a un effet significatif sur le climat. Tout comme les cirrus naturels, les TC contribuent à réchauffer le climat. La mesure exacte de leur impact sur le climat demeure toutefois incertaine. Les modèles numériques du climat ne peuvent pas prendre en considération toute la variabilité des composantes des TC qui influencent son forçage radiatif. Et si les TC sont devenues une préoccupation, c'est en raison de la croissance du trafic aérien. D'ici 2050, d'autres facteurs, tels le réchauffement climatique et l'altitude de croisière des avions, doivent être néanmoins considérés pour envisager une occurrence à la hausse des TC. Preface Adhesion is a phenomenon architects and civil engineers are not very familiar with. In other disciplines knowledge about surface properties and the background of bonding energies is also far from satisfactory; nevertheless there are many important· applications in concrete engineering, where adhesion is necessary for success and durability. These include: - coating and painting - repair of concrete surfaces - bonding of fresh to old concrete - crack injection - glueing of precast elements - glueing of steel to concrete, etc. In 1981 RILEM established the technical committee 52-RAC 'Resin Adherence to Concrete'. The main aims of the committee's work were - to collect research results and practical experiences - to initiate and coordinate research programs - to develop, on a scientific base, test methods for field and for laboratory purposes. One of the results of the committee's work is a state-of-the-art report, which will be presented orally as a General Report at the International Symposium ISAP '86, and will be printed either in the RILEM journal Materials and Structures or separately. What makes a ‘getting acquainted’ a recognizable conversational activity, and how are interpersonal relationships established in a first conversation? This book presents a theoretical framework for the study of relationship management in conversation and an empirical study of a corpus of initial interactions. It provides detailed descriptions of the sequential resources unacquainted interlocutors use in order to: – generate self-presentation – introduce topics – establish common contextual resources It is argued that these sequential patterns embody conventionalized procedures for establishing an interpersonal relationship involving some degree of: – solidarity (mutual rights and obligations) – familiarity (mutual knowledge of personal background) – mutual affect (emotional commitment) The sequential analysis is based on a conversation analytic approach, while the interpretive framework consists of pragmatic theories of politeness, conversational style and common ground.
