It shall be the duty of the miner to remove the drillings from the mouth of the drill-hole to a distance of not less than fifteen feet before the shots are fired, and no miner shall use coal-drillings for tamping shots. G. S. 1915, 6333. 167. Penalty for neglect or refusal to comply with provisions of preceding section. Any miner who shall neglect or refuse to comply with the provisions of section 3 of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined in a sum of not less than one dollar nor more than ten dollars for each violation of said section 8.
