No spot perhaps, in the locality above indicated, could now be an eligible site for the host of the Israelites for many days. But, as no attempt is made here to fix on a definite site for Kadesh as a city, it is enough to observe that the objection a plies in nearly equal force to nearly all solutions 0 the question of which the Scriptural narrative admits.
