I, along with my two sisters, was subjected to years of sexual abuse by our father from the age of three to early adulthood. There is no adjective to describe the torment and anguish that three innocent girls were forced to live with for their entire lives. This book is an examination of psychological terrorism and a look into the darkened bedrooms of America. It is also a journey into the darkest side of human nature. The broken lives, stolen innocence and betrayal of trust is overshadowed by a far greater tragedy. The failure to protect me and my sisters from the deprivations of a very sick man is one thing. The fact that he got away with it is another. This book is also a tale of hope, for I was one of the lucky ones who achieved healing and recovery. If my story gives even just one victim hope and inspiration ato move on, then I will count it as a personal victory.
