Several months ago, an antiquarian friend brought it to me, saying it had been accidentally found among some papers recently examined by a member of the Massachusetts Historical Society. Through the good offices of my friend, and by the kindness of a relative to whose family the papers referred to belonged, it has been given to me, coupled only with the suggestion that I should print it; a suggestion with which I feel it my duty to comply.
