Book Description
In this meticulously researched work, Senan Shaibani presents a comprehensive legal argument for the indictment of the United States for its violation of Iraq and Syria’s sovereign national rights. He cites well-established international laws, treaties, and conventions, employing real world examples to make his case. Additionally, the work poses pressing questions about global governance: Why does the United Nations, a body meant to uphold international law, appear to favor certain nations over others? And how can sovereign nations around the world trust a system that seems biased against them? The manuscript, however, remains a poignant work in progress, it tragically remains without Senan's concluding touch. It should be approached as a starting point—a foundation—for readers to further the cause and continue moving the needle of history towards justice.

Book Description
1. The United States of America, through its departments and agencies, regulates the activities of foreign individuals and entities in and affecting the United States in order to prevent, disclose, and counteract improper foreign influence on U.S. elections and on the U.S. political system. U.S. law bans foreign nationals from making certain expenditures or financial disbursements for the purpose of influencing federal elections. U.S. law also bars agents of any foreign entity from engaging in political activities within the United States without first registering with the Attorney General. And U.S. law requires certain foreign nationals seeking entry to the United States to obtain a visa by providing truthful and accurate information to the government. Various federal agencies, including the Federal Election Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Department of State, are charged with enforcing these laws.

Book Description
"The United States Code is the official codification of the general and permanent laws of the United States of America. The Code was first published in 1926, and a new edition of the code has been published every six years since 1934. The 2012 edition of the Code incorporates laws enacted through the One Hundred Twelfth Congress, Second Session, the last of which was signed by the President on January 15, 2013. It does not include laws of the One Hundred Thirteenth Congress, First Session, enacted between January 2, 2013, the date it convened, and January 15, 2013. By statutory authority this edition may be cited "U.S.C. 2012 ed." As adopted in 1926, the Code established prima facie the general and permanent laws of the United States. The underlying statutes reprinted in the Code remained in effect and controlled over the Code in case of any discrepancy. In 1947, Congress began enacting individual titles of the Code into positive law. When a title is enacted into positive law, the underlying statutes are repealed and the title then becomes legal evidence of the law. Currently, 26 of the 51 titles in the Code have been so enacted. These are identified in the table of titles near the beginning of each volume. The Law Revision Counsel of the House of Representatives continues to prepare legislation pursuant to 2 U.S.C. 285b to enact the remainder of the Code, on a title-by-title basis, into positive law. The 2012 edition of the Code was prepared and published under the supervision of Ralph V. Seep, Law Revision Counsel. Grateful acknowledgment is made of the contributions by all who helped in this work, particularly the staffs of the Office of the Law Revision Counsel and the Government Printing Office"--Preface.

Book Description
Would you know what to do or to avoid if you were charged or indicted by the federal government? Most people don¿t. The U.S. Department of Justice is a formidable opponent¿defendants should never underestimate its power. This complete, cost-effective, self-help 640-page guidebook filled with worksheets, tables, charts, maps and case examples provides a ¿blueprint¿ designed to guide federal defendants throughout the entire legal process from indictment to probable incarceration, with further instructions on how to calculate and reduce their sentences and obtain the best possible facilities. Many attorneys use this tremendous resource, and often provide it to their clients to help them understand what they face. Hundreds of cases were studied over a three year period of time. Strategies and evidence highlighted during hundreds of interviews with inmates serving from 11 months to 326 months (27 years) (to the last man, all having wished they had taken the time to better understand what was happening during their indictment) will give every defendant the best knowledge available. Statistics reflect that approximately 94% of all persons indicted by the federal government will plead guilty. Of the remaining six percent, 75% of those who proceed to trial will be convicted. The math indicates, therefore, a 97% likelihood that federal criminal defendants will face sentencing and incarceration. Before this guide went to press, it was reviewed by hundreds of former defendants and inmates. The overwhelming majority concurred with the statement: ¿If I¿d only had a guide like this when I was indicted ¿¿
