La mise en place d’un programme d’éducation thérapeutique fait appel à une démarche structurée nécessitant du personnel, des compétences et du temps. Depuis plusieurs années, l’intérêt de l’Éducation Thérapeutique du Patient (ETP) dans la prise en charge des patients atteints de maladies chroniques a pu être démontré, tant sur le plan thérapeutique et de la qualité de vie que sur le plan financier. Le traitement des patients transplantés rénaux nécessite une observance stricte pour la survie du greffon. La nécessité d’un maintien au long cours d’un suivi thérapeutique a été démontrée dans une précédente étude. De ce fait, la proximité et la disponibilité du pharmacien d’officine pourrait faire de lui un acteur relais dans le suivi thérapeutique des transplantés rénaux. Afin de faire suite à la démarche éducative établie dans le service de néphrologie du CHU de Caen, nous avons cherché à évaluer l’intérêt d’intégrer le pharmacien d’officine dans le suivi thérapeutique des transplantés rénaux.
