Post Office Paranoid is based on my 19 years with the postal service and grew out of work-related diaries that I kept for 15 of those years, most of them spent as a clerk on the night shift. Its main theme is working at the post office and the harassment and games that seem to thrive there, due to a combination of factors I don't try to analyze but just demonstrate by using my experience as an example.
