His son, William Mitchell, married Rebecca Noss in Dauphin County. They had seven children, 1807- 1824. He died in 1826. His family migrated to Stephenson County, Illinois, in 1842. Descendants lived in Illinois, Iowa, and elsewhere. Few dates given for later descendants.
