Book Description
God and Man's Relationship Through the Dispensations of Time This book is a follow up of What Was God Doing before He Made Man, Dr. Tripp's unusual book. God's plan for man through the ages is a progressive one, through seven dispensations of time. Ephesians 1:10, "That in the dispensation of the fullness of time he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth." Through the ages, God has dealt with man in varied ways according to the period of time. These periods are known as dispensations. The prehistoric period does not come under a dispensation because there was no man during that period. A dispensation is a period of time when man is tested in respect to obedience to some specific revelation of the will of God for that period. There are seven such dispensations, each of which has a character of its own and is so distinct that it cannot be commingled with any other.

Book Description
The prophet Brigham Young taught the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in a basic, practical way that gave inspiration and hope to the Saints struggling to build a home in the wilderness. Though more than a century has now passed, his words are still fresh and appropriate for us today as we continue the work of building the kingdom of God. President Young declared that as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we possess the “doctrine of life and salvation for all the honest-in-heart” (DBY, 7). He promised that those who receive the gospel in their hearts will have awakened “within them a desire to know and understand the things of God more than they ever did before in their lives” and will begin to “inquire, read and search and when they go to their Father in the name of Jesus he will not leave them without a witness” (DBY, 450). This book reflects the desire of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles to deepen the doctrinal understanding of Church members and to awaken within them a greater desire to know the things of God. It will inspire and motivate individuals, priesthood quorums, and Relief Society classes to inquire, read, search, and then go to their Father in Heaven for a witness of the truth of these teachings. Each chapter contains two sections—“Teachings of Brigham Young” and “Suggestions for Study.” The first section consists of extracts from Brigham Young’s sermons to the early Saints. Each statement has been referenced, and the original spelling and punctuation have been preserved; however, the sources cited will not be readily available to most members. These original sources are not necessary to have in order to effectively study or teach from this book. Members need not purchase additional references and commentaries to study or teach these chapters. The text provided in this book, accompanied by the scriptures, is sufficient for instruction. Members should prayerfully read and study President Young’s teachings in order to gain new insights into gospel principles and discover how those principles apply to their everyday lives. By faithfully and prayerfully studying these selections, Latter-day Saints will have a greater understanding of gospel principles and will more fully appreciate the profound and inspired teachings of this great prophet. The second section of each chapter offers a series of questions that will encourage thoughtful contemplation, personal application, and discussion of President Young’s teachings. Members should refer to and carefully reread his words on the principle being discussed. Deep and prayerful study of these teachings will inspire members to greater personal commitment and will help them resolve to follow the teachings of the Savior, Jesus Christ. If individuals and families prayerfully follow the principles in this book, they will be blessed and inspired to greater dedication and spirituality, as were the early Saints who heard these words directly from the lips of the “Lion of the Lord” (HC, 7:434)—the prophet, seer, and revelator, President Brigham Young.

Book Description
The Bible is the inspired word of God, and every believer should study it in order to know the rich and vast content of God's divine provisions. When God speaks, He does so through His established eord. Therefore, we must study the Bible in a proper way in order to let the word of God dwell richly in our hearts. In order to study the Bible, we first must be proper persons, having passed through the necessary spiritual training under the Lord's leading and guiding. We must also use the right methods. Many good books have been printed on how to study the Bible, but most pay attention only to methods of studying the Bible; They do not pay enough attention to the person who studies the Bible. Even with the right methods, we can receive very little in our study of the Bible if Our person is not proper before the Lord.

Book Description
Clearly something is dreadfully wrong with our society when we compare the inner societal performances against the documented foundational biblical principles on which our nation is purportedly built. It is not just a national problem we face, rather an international crisis due to the absence of understanding of what spiritual repercussions await us for the lack of performance to Gods dictates. We are distracted and sidelined by childish malice over skin color, races, and a stockpile of other nonessentials, as in essence, the angels of God gradually push shut the great stone hinged door of time allotted us to establish true God fearing relationships, in the final hour of this 6th dispensation. God used one blood, His blood in the creation of man upon the face of the earth. The dominion and power of Gods human creatures were bestowed upon and within man by the blessing of the Creator. Mans failure in lack of obedience to God imposed a chronological timeframe upon humankind that was already operating in the reproductive realm, from initiation of pregnancy to full term for birth, but would now directly impact the lifespan of humans, and sub-species, from birth to death. The life of every God conscious creature is in the blood: a transfusable, non-transmutable, generation transcending, God breathed biomaterial. A goodly portion of the God conscious segment of society is visually aware, but functionally asleep. God, who has given us dominion, has also given us time to get our domain in order, to His specifications: in fact He has given us six allotments, or dispensations of time, wherein we have control, to do so. The Lord will attend and manage personally the 7th dispensation, in His vesture dipped in blood. Gods blood has its role throughout all of the 7 dispensations.

Book Description
"god's sands of time" begins by identifying the involvement of dispensations in the texts of the Bible. It also defines the term dispensation as well as what is involved in determining what constitutes a given dispensation. In order to understand the beginning of dispensations, this book will examine the matter of the biblical account of the creation and the origin of man. Another area that is considered is environmental involvement due to the ending judgment at the close of each dispensation. In that the pregiven factors determine the opening and closing of a dispensation, the author concludes that there are seven in number. Thus, each dispensation is evaluated in light of the biblical information given from Genesis to Revelation. In looking at the first five dispensations along with most of the way through the sixth, it is evident that the history of mankind is revealed in Scripture as God has been at work with man through the ages. The reader will also discover that the last two dispensations have much to reveal from Scripture concerning the happenings of the current unrest in the world and God's plan for the conclusion of this present heavens and earth. There is also information regarding the "new heavens and new earth that is to be made that will last forever and will be righteous forever." The understanding of God's plan through the ages will bring comfort as we see that indeed God is in control and has been all along.

Book Description
Building on the foundation of Kingdom through Covenant (Crossway, 2012), Stephen J. Wellum and Brent E. Parker have assembled a team of scholars who offer a fresh perspective regarding the interrelationship between the biblical covenants. Each chapter seeks to demonstrate how the covenants serve as the backbone to the grand narrative of Scripture. For example, New Testament scholar Thomas Schreiner writes on the Sabbath command from the Old Testament and thinks through its applications to new covenant believers. Christopher Cowan wrestles with the warning passages of Scripture, texts which are often viewed by covenant theologians as evidence for a "mixed" view of the church. Jason DeRouchie provides a biblical theology of “seed” and demonstrates that the covenantal view is incorrect in some of its conclusions. Jason Meyer thinks through the role of law in both the old and new covenants. John Meade unpacks circumcision in the OT and how it is applied in the NT, providing further warrant to reject covenant theology's link of circumcision with (infant) baptism. Oren Martin tackles the issue of Israel and land over against a dispensational reading, and Richard Lucas offers an exegetical analysis of Romans 9-11, arguing that it does not require a dispensational understanding. From issues of ecclesiology to the warning passages in Hebrews, this book carefully navigates a mediating path between the dominant theological systems of covenant theology and dispensationalism to offer the reader a better way to understand God’s one plan of redemption.

Book Description
Most Christians desire to have a better understanding of their Bibles. What they may not realize is that their desire cannot be ascertained without a better comprehension of what scripture refers to as the counsels of God. This is God’s plan for the ages, or what could be termed “God’s big picture.” All too often contemporary Christian teaching concentrates on the comfort of the here and now, losing all connection with the eternal plan of God. How to Better Understand the Bible explains how the true Christian has been sealed by God with the Holy Spirit. He is the spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out from our hearts, “Abba, Father.” Believers have this new relationship in which God is their Father and they are His children. But not only children, for God considers us His friends, and He will not hide from us any of the things He is going to do. The Spirit has been given to believers as their teacher. His mission is to take what has been given to Jesus of the Father and declare it to us, as well as showing us things to come. Unique to the time of the Christian dispensation is the fact that the Holy Spirit has been sent down. He has revealed to us the mystery of God’s will. In times past, God had kept hidden two vital truths which would serve to complete the revelation and knowledge of His counsels—the universal exaltation of Jesus Christ over all things, and the formation and existence of His body, the church. How to Better Understand the Bible organizes and explains from scripture the full knowledge of God’s counsels. Every true Christian, as a member of Christ’s body, has been given by God an intimate and privileged place in these counsels.
