Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Geschichte, Note: 2,3, Freie Universität Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit wird die Rolle der Geschichtskultur diskutieren und am Ende feststellen, was dies für das Gesichtsbewusstsein der Lernenden bedeutet. Dafür ist es zunächst wichtig, die theoretische Ausarbeitung der einzelnen Begriffe näher in Betracht zu nehmen, um sie dann explizit auf den Geschichtsunterricht in Schulen zu beziehen und welche Beeinflussungen sich dadurch in der heterogenen Gesellschaft abspielen. Die Geschichtskultur muss dafür näher erläutert werden und wie sie durch historisches Lernen Erkenntnisse gewinnt. Danach ist es wichtig zu klären, wie sich verschiedene Lernprozesse innerhalb der heterogenen Gesellschaft entwickeln und was passiert, wenn die verschiedenen, damit einhergehenden Erinnerungen verdrängt werden, nur um ein bestimmtes kollektives Gedächtnis beizubehalten, welches nur einen Teil der Gesellschaft anspricht. Anschließend wird der Geschichtsunterricht näher in Augenschein genommen und wie dort die Geschichtskultur zu finden ist. Die Heterogenität in den Klassenräumen wird dadurch außer Acht gelassen, da der Geschichtsunterricht sich auf einseitige bestimmte Themen verfestigt. Wie genau die Geschichtskultur im Wandel ist und wie sich dies für die besagte Diversität letztendlich auswirken muss, wird dann im Schluss betrachtet. Wird heutzutage vom Geschichtsunterricht gesprochen, haben viele bestimmte Assoziationen mit dem Fach. Die Erinnerungen an bestimmte Themen und Unterrichtsstoffe werden wachgerufen und kaum einer würde sich fragen, was gewesen wäre, hätte der eine oder andere einen anderen Geschichtsunterricht erlebt. Werden diese Diskussionen angeschnitten, kommt man nicht darüber hinweg, sich über die Geschichtskultur Gedanken zu machen. Durch eine stark erhöhte Sensibilität für geschichtliche Ereignisse, den oftmals damit verbundenen Debatten und deren gesellschaftlichen Auswirkungen ist in den letzten Jahren ein allgemeines öffentliches Interesse an dem Zusammenhang von historischer Erinnerung, Gesellschaft und Kultur gewachsen. Immer mehr entstand das Bedürfnis nach einem übergreifenden Umgang mit Vergangenem. Vor allem durch die starke heutige Heterogenität sind diese Themen von Bedeutung und nehmen ihren Anfang in den heterogenen Klassenzimmern.
