Reconnect with your wild essence as you awaken your innate bond with the natural world “Rewilding is a return to our essential nature. It is an attempt to reclaim something of what we were before we used words like ‘civilized’ to define ourselves.” —Micah Mortali In his long-awaited book Rewilding, Kripalu director Micah Mortali brings together yoga, mindfulness, wilderness training, and ancestral skills to create a unique guide for reigniting your primal energy—your undomesticated true self—and deepening your connection with the living earth. For hundreds of thousands of years, humans lived intimately with the earth. We were in the wild and of the wild. Today, we live mostly urban lives—and our vital wildness has gone dormant. As a result, we’re more isolated, unhealthy, anxious, and depressed than ever, and our planet has suffered alongside us. With Rewilding, Mortali invites us to shed the effects of over-civilization and explore an inner wisdom that is primal, ancient, and profound. Whether you live in the middle of a city or alongside the woods, the insights and practices on these pages will bring you home to your wild, wise, and alive self. Highlights include: Practice-rich content—mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, yoga and pranayama, inward sensing, forest bathing, and much moreThe “life-force deficit”—explore how our separation from nature affects us physiologically and spirituallyAncestral skills—such as tracking, foraging, building fires, and finding shelterDevelop a sense of calm, clarity, connection, and confidence in both your daily life and the great outdoorsWhat you can learn from nature’s teachers—lessons from mountains, rivers, trees, and our animal kinRewild in the wild—guidelines around safety, preparedness, appropriate gear, and packing listsA mindful rewilding flow—put everything together in an immersive, step-by-step rewilding experienceAwaken your authentic spiritual connection with the natural world as you come home to your true selfUnderstand the relationship between our health and the health of our planet—and how we can begin to heal both Part celebration of the natural world, part spiritual memoir, and part how-to guide, Rewilding is a must-read for anyone who wants to embrace their wild nature and essential place in the living earth.

Book Description
Where do the dead go when they rest? The poetic mystery of death has long been a fascination for the living. The images of warm hearths and a familial embrace are conjured for some, while others picture screaming in eternal torment at the hands of a demon. And yet, clerics have the power to pluck the dead back from that plane, thrusting them back into their mortal coils or even raising them into a state of eternal Undeath. Surely the gods would grow weary of their clerics pinching souls that rightfully belonged in their afterlife. Wouldn’t they? A partnership forged in fire and blood between musicians, artists, writers, editors, and more currently rests in your hands. The Black Ballad is a 10-chapter roleplaying campaign made alongside DiAmorte’s second album, a savage metal opera of cosmic proportions. This saga will let players decide the fate of the afterlife itself while immersing themselves in musical works focusing on loss, acceptance, and determination in the face of one’s own death. Will your campaign have the gall to challenge the will of divinity?

Book Description
Author John Edmonds was given something very few were given: insight on the day he died. For the twenty-five minutes when his physical body was without a heartbeat, his spiritual self soared to a great and profound epiphany. On this impossible journey, he was given a glimpse into a greater truth as he learned of his thirty-three previous incarnations on this earth. Among his past lives, he was an Inuit kinsman, a father, a doctor, a seafarer, an ancient pagan chieftain, and a monk. He was allowed to revisit a former life in which he and Jesus Christ, his dearest soul brother, lived in a town called Bethany. There, they shared in His love and wisdom. At night, as the blazing winter fires burned, they partook of the Divine. John and his sisters clothed Him, bathed Him, and anointed His feet. In return, He saved them in every possible way. Their hearts were torn to learn of His great suffering. He was the One, the Messiah. He was Christ Jesus, and He was Johns dearest friend. These are Johns tales of a past life spent in the blessed company of Christ Jesus, his brother, his flesh, and his bloodhis very personal recollection of an extraordinary friendship and love. It chronicles an epic journey from ancient times to the present day, a journey far beyond the realm of the living. This is the story of his fascinating and compelling nonphysical experience and the instruction he received during his time on the other side. His is an astonishing tale of survival, courage, revelation, and inconceivable willpower.

Book Description
Stories by Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan, Booker Prize winner Su Tong, and more: “Takes readers into worlds the Chinese government has long tried to hide.”—The Washington Post Book World “In contrast to the utopian official literature of Communist China, the stories in this wide-ranging collection marshal wry humor, entangled sex, urban alienation, nasty village politics and frequent violence...’The Brothers Shu,’ by Su Tong (Raise the Red Lantern), is an urban tale of young lust and sibling rivalry in a sordid neighborhood around the ironically named Fragrant Cedar Street. That story’s earthiness is matched by Wang Xiangfu’s folksy ‘Fritter Hollow Chronicles,’ about peasants' vendettas and local politics, and by ‘The Cure,’ by Mo Yan (Red Sorghum; The Garlic Ballads), which details the fringe benefits of an execution. Personal alienation and disaffection are as likely to appear in stories with rural settings (Li Rui’s ‘Sham Marriage’) as they are to poison the lives of urban characters (Chen Cun’s ‘Footsteps on the Roof’). Comedy takes an elegant and elaborate form in ‘A String of Choices,’ Wang Meng’s tale of a toothache cure, and it assumes the burlesque of small-town propaganda fodder in Li Xiao’s ‘Grass on the Rooftop.’”—Publishers Weekly “Fiction that reflects the turmoil brought about by Tiananmen and the money-making ethic found in China today.”—Library Journal Includes contributions by Shi Tiesheng, Hong Ying, Su Tong, Wang Meng, Li Rui, Duo Duo, Chen Ran, Li Xiao, Yu Hua, Mo Yan, Ai Bei, Cao Naiqian, Can Xue, Bi Feiyu, Yang Zhengguang, Ge Fei, Chen Cun, Chi Li, Kong Jiesheng, Wang Xiangfu

Book Description
Flying home to New York I pictured my boxes of diaries being delivered, driven like a western covered wagon train slowly rolling across America. Back in hometown the collection of stories grew by searching for a church, new jobs, another dog and stumbling in and out of love. January of 2002 after having major surgery I began reading 240 diaries and shaping events. Honoring God by illuminating my trials and blessings was my motive for writing. Telling the story of Gods love became my objective. By 2007 I quit one part time job to carve out quality time as writing matured into a daily labor of love. In March 2012 I discovered Westbow Press. Prayerfully putting my manuscript into the hands of their editors, the hard work of rewriting progressed. My hope is to encourage those who think they know Jesus as Savior to be sure and obey Him as Lord. Lord willing many more will come to love Him.
