Gigantes is the word which the Septuagint (the ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible dated to the 3rd to 2nd centuries BCE) uses to translate the Hebrew word "Nephilim," and is translated into English as "Giants." Idioms such as the mistranslation "sons of God," which have rightly confused those who have no knowledge of ancient languages, are explained fully. The book avoids theological pontificating and ramblings, and adheres instead to actual evidence.
