The aim of this study is to identify the adoption factors towards online purchase through Blogs in the Malaysian consumers' context. A conceptual model integrating five determinants namely, utilitarian orientation, hedonic orientation, trust, opinion leadership and website features were proposed in this study. The employed instrument was developed based on adaptation from previous studies. The instrument was then subjected to validity and reliability test which then confirm that the instrument was appropriate for this study. A survey was conducted to a total of 269 respondents from all over Malaysia where the findings reveal that all five proposed determinants have strong relationship with attitudes towards online shopping through Blogs; however only three determinants, namely trust, utilitarian and hedonic orientation posed a significant influence in determining attitudes towards Blogs purchase. The findings also indicate that attitudes will lead to intention to purchase through Blogs. The result is beneficial for marketers to understand factors influencing customer's attitudes and intention to purchase through Blogs.

The aim of this study was to examine the adoption of online shopping and online shopping for clothing in particular and factors influencing the intention to purchase clothing online. A quantitative research method was used and a questionnaire designed on the website www.surveymonkey.com and then distributed by sending out the link leading to the survey via facebook and emails. 94 useful questionnaires were gathered from female and male UK students. SPSS 17 was used to analyse the collected data by conducting chi-square tests and Spearman's rho correlation tests to examine the relation between different variables. The constructs of the technology acceptance model (TAM) were used as a framework and basis for this research and were extended by further constructs. Therefore, the impact of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, prior online shopping experience, perceived risk and product involvement on the intention to purchase clothing online was analysed. Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and prior online shopping experience had positive effects on the intention to purchase clothing online. Perceived risk had a negative effect on the intention to purchase clothing online. These findings supported the hypotheses. Other than hypothesised, clothing product involvement did not have a significant positive effect on the intention to purchase clothing online.

The purpose of the research is to find the factors which persuade the consumers' trust on e-commerce adoption in Sri Lanka. The creation of the Internet has reduced physical borders and made the world a smaller place where people can able to keep in touch with one another at any time from every nook and corner. This research arise the following research questions. How the security and privacy concerns in online transaction relate with e-commerce adoption? How do the trustworthiness and reliability of the web vendors relate to the consumer's adoption of e-commerce? and How the performance, physical, security, privacy and delivery risk affect consumers to adopt in e-commerce. Questionnaire was used as a research instrument and basically the questionnaire cover two parts; such as 1st part covers questions related to online purchase and adoption of electronic commerce. The 2nd part covers factors affecting ecommerce security, privacy, and trust as well as risk perceptions. The extensive literature survey helped to form the research variables and hypothesis. To measure the questions likert scale measurement was used. The likert scale measurement were ranging from 1 - very unimportant to 5 - very important. This research shows that, consumer's perceived privacy, security and trustworthiness of Web vendor in e-commerce transaction positively contributes to his/her trust in e-commerce adoption. On the other hand the influence of a consumer's perceived security in e-commerce transaction is mediated by consumer's perceived privacy and consumer's adoption in e-commerce transaction not negatively associated with e-commerce perceived risks.
