Book Description
This is a report of an occupational survey of the AFSC 2A3X1A/B/C F-15/F-111 Avionic Systems career ladder conducted by the Occupational Analysis Flight, Air Force Occupational Measurement Squadron (AFOMS). This survey will ensure current data for use in updating career ladder documents and training programs. AFSC 2A3X1A/B/C personnel were last surveyed in 1990 (formerly two separate AFSCs according to aircraft: 452X1 and 452X3). This report is the first to provide insight into the success of the merger of the F-15 and F-111 Avionic Systems career ladders.

Book Description
This is a report of an occupational survey of the Avionics Test Stations and Components, F-15/F-111 career ladder conducted by the Occupational Analysis Flight, Air Force Occupational Measurement Squadron. The survey was conducted to obtain current job and task data. Data collected through this OSR will be utilized by training development personnel to review courses and related training documents in light of equipment and utilization changes which have occurred since the last OSR. in addition, specific information was requested to help training development personnel in the creation of a common 7-skill level course for both AFSC 2A0XlA and 2A0X1B. information regarding F-111 specific tasks was also requested by the same individuals due to the upcoming retirement of that aircraft. The career ladder was last surveyed as AFSC 451X4 (F-15 Avionics Test Station and Component Specialist) and 451X6 (F-111 Avionics Test Station and Component Specialist). The results are summarized in OSRs dated February 1990 and February 1991, respectively.

Book Description
The thesis presents a historical analysis of the Integrated Avionic Systems Specialty (326XX). It reviews the results of many developments in weapons technology which have affected Air Force Maintenance concepts and training requirements. Research efforts were directed at integrated avionic systems which have evolved from microelectronics technology. Since 1968, additional weapon systems have been added to the Air Force inventory and the resulting overextension of this career field caused manpower and training problems. After several years of intercommand deliberation, corrective changes to this career specialty have recently been proposed. Restructing of the 326XX AFSC is expected to provide improved manpower skills for the maintenance of the F/FB-111, A-7D, F-15, F-16, andB-1 aircraft. Future developments in technology or changes in maintenance policy may require further evaluation of this career field structuring and logistic support requirements.

Book Description
The purpose of this training requirements analysis (TRA) is to assist in determining training requirements for F-111 Avionics Systems personnel in light of recent RIVET WORKFORCE (RWF) restructuring efforts. The information may be used to evaluate the adequacy, feasibility, and efficiency of the training provided within this rapidly changing specialty. Data for this TRA were gathered by means of field interviews with F-111 Avionics Systems personnel. The TRA task list was extracted from the February 1989 452X3 USAF Job Inventory (JI). A total of 45 subject-matter experts (SMEs) at 2 TAC bases and 1 sac base were interviewed to gather task data and other training decision data. In addition, system overview information was gathered from HQ USAF, the TAC functional manager, and members of Lowry Technical Training. Consider the common skill and knowledge requirements identified in the task analysis when designing or revising training. Training should emphasize the similarities within the across the AFSC shreds. This approach may help graduates understand the broader applicability of their skills and knowledge.
