Une méthode d’analyse et de modélisation des propriétés de complexation et d’acidité de la MON a été mise au point, en représentant ses interactions par des paramètres fiables, et en s’affranchissant de la structure exacte des composés organiques la constituant. Les propriétés de la MON ont été modélisées à l’aide de quasi-particules reproduisant ses interactions non-spécifiques et spécifiques. Un logiciel d’optimisation de paramètres de complexation a été développé: PROSECE. Couplé à une nouvelle technique d’ajouts logarithmiques, il s’est montré nettement plus approprié que les autres traitements de données. Les interactions MON-proton et MON-métaux traces ont été analysées respectivement par titration acido-basique, et par titration logarithmique et mesure par DPASV. Le modèle chimique développé, associé aux techniques analytiques et à l’utilisation de PROSECE ont permis d’étudier les propriétés de complexation et d’acidité de différentes MON d’origines variées
