Author: HERVE.. MAILLOT
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category :
Languages : fr
Pages : 101
Book Description
CETTE THESE EST CONSACREE A L'ANALYSE DE PLUSIEURS PROBLEMES D'OPTIMISATION ASSOCIES A L'EQUATION DES ONDES ET A SA VERSION STATIONNAIRE. DANS LE CHAPITRE 2, ON TRAITE D'ABORD UN PROBLEME DE CONTROLE OPTIMAL DE L'EQUATION DES ONDES LINEAIRE, LE CONTROLE ETANT DISTRIBUE SUR UN SOUS-ENSEMBLE DONNE ET INCLUS DANS LE DOMAINE SUR LEQUEL EST ECRITE L'EQUATION D'ETAT. L'EXISTENCE ET L'UNICITE D'UN CONTROLE OPTIMAL SONT OBTENUES PAR DES ARGUMENTS CLASSIQUES DE LA THEORIE DU CONTROLE. DANS LE CAS STATIONNAIRE, ON PROUVE QUE LE CONTROLE OPTIMAL COINCIDE AVEC L'ETAT OPTIMAL ASSOCIE. LE SYSTEME D'OPTIMALITE SE REDUIT ALORS A UNE EQUATION SCALAIRE ELLIPTIQUE. DANS LE CHAPITRE 3, ON SE CONSACRE A L'ETUDE DE DEUX PROBLEMES D'OPTIMISATION DE FORME ASSOCIES A UNE EQUATION ELLIPTIQUE DANS LAQUELLE LE SUPPORT DU CONTROLE VARIE DANS UN ENSEMBLE ADMISSIBLE DE PARTIES MESURABLES. QUAND CELLES-CI SONT SOUMISES A UNE CONTRAINTE DE PERIMETRE, UN ARGUMENT DE COMPACITE PERMET DE PROUVER L'EXISTENCE D'UN DOMAINE OPTIMAL I.E. QUI MINIMISE UNE FONCTIONNELLE REPRESENTANT L'ENERGIE DU SYSTEME. LORSQUE LA CONTRAINTE PORTE SUR LE VOLUME, ON INTRODUIT UNE FORMULATION RELAXEE POUR LAQUELLE ON A EXISTENCE D'UN ELEMENT OPTIMAL QUI N'EST PLUS, EN GENERAL, UN DOMAINE. ON DONNE UNE CARACTERISATION DE CE MINIMISEUR AINSI QUE DES CONDITIONS SUFFISANTES SUR LES DONNEES (SECOND MEMBRE DE L'EQUATION) POUR QUE CET ELEMENT OPTIMAL SOIT UN DOMAINE. LE CHAPITRE 4 REPREND L'ETUDE PRECEDENTE DANS LE CAS RADIAL. ON Y DONNE DES RESULTATS D'EXISTENCE DE SOLUTIONS (DOMAINE OU NON) EN UTILISANT LES CONDITIONS D'OPTIMALITE ETABLIES AU CHAPITRE 3 AINSI QUE DES ARGUMENTS DE SYMETRISATION. LE CHAPITRE 5 DEVELOPPE UN TRAITEMENT NUMERIQUE DU PROBLEME RELAXE SOUS CONTRAINTE DE VOLUME. L'ALGORITHME UTILISE FAIT UN USAGE INTENSIF DES CONDITIONS NECESSAIRES ET SUFFISANTES D'OPTIMALITE ET FOURNIT A MOINDRE COUP LA FORME ET LA LOCALISATION DE LA SOLUTION LORSQUE C'EST UN DOMAINE. DANS LE DERNIER CHAPITRE, ON S'INTERESSE AU CHOIX OPTIMAL DU COEFFICIENT D'AMORTISSEMENT DANS L'EQUATION (LINEAIRE) DES ONDES AMORTIES. LES CRITERES CONSIDERE SON L'ENERGIE TOTALE DU SYSTEME ET SON SUPREMUM SUR L'ESPACE D'ENERGIE. LORSQUE CELLE-CI EXISTE, ON ANALYSE LA DEPENDANCE DE LA SOLUTION OPTIMALE VIS-A-VIS DES CONDITIONS INITIALES. ON PEUT AINSI EXHIBER EXPLICITEMENT UNE CLASSE DE CONDITIONS INITIALES POUR LAQUELLE LE MEILLEUR COEFFICIENT D'AMORTISSEMENT CONSTANT EST OPTIMAL.

Filtering for Stochastic Processes with Applications to Guidance
Author: Richard S. Bucy
Publisher: American Mathematical Soc.
ISBN: 9780821837825
Category : Mathematics
Languages : en
Pages : 240
Book Description
This second edition preserves the original text of 1968, with clarification and added references. From the Preface to the Second Edition: ``Since the First Edition of this book, numerous important results have appeared--in particular stochastic integrals with respect to martingales, random fields, Riccati equation theory and realization of nonlinear filters, to name a few. In Appendix D, an attempt is made to provide some of the references that the authors have found useful and tocomment on the relation of the cited references to the field ... [W]e hope that this new edition will have the effect of hastening the day when the nonlinear filter will enjoy the same popularity in applications as the linear filter does now.''

Applied Optimal Control Theory of Distributed Systems
Author: K.A. Lurie
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 147579262X
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 503
Book Description
This book represents an extended and substantially revised version of my earlierbook, Optimal Control in Problems ofMathematical Physics, originally published in Russian in 1975. About 60% of the text has been completely revised and major additions have been included which have produced a practically new text. My aim was to modernize the presentation but also to preserve the original results, some of which are little known to a Western reader. The idea of composites, which is the core of the modern theory of optimization, was initiated in the early seventies. The reader will find here its implementation in the problem of optimal conductivity distribution in an MHD-generatorchannel flow.Sincethen it has emergedinto an extensive theory which is undergoing a continuous development. The book does not pretend to be a textbook, neither does it offer a systematic presentation of the theory. Rather, it reflects a concept which I consider as fundamental in the modern approach to optimization of dis tributed systems. Bibliographical notes, though extensive, do not pretend to be exhaustive as well. My thanks are due to ProfessorJean-Louis Armand and ProfessorWolf Stadler whose friendly assistance in translating and polishing the text was so valuable. I am indebted to Mrs. Kathleen Durand and Mrs. Colleen Lewis for the hard job of typing large portions of the manuscript.
