Such a labor would Show the development of this state's manufactures and give such a thorough acquaintance with the events and do ings that have led up to the present labor conditions that it would be a profitable work for some future report of this bureau. It was in fulfillment of the above expression of last year that the industrial history has been presented in this report. That statement, perhaps better than any other, ex presses the aims, objects and methods that have predominated in the preparation of this history.
