With growing awareness of the devastation caused by major natural disasters, alongside integration of governance and technology networks, the parameters of humanitarian aid are becoming more global. Displacement has traditionally been conceptualized as a phenomenon that results from conflict or other disruptions in developing or unstable countries. This book is a critical analysis of several of the most disaster-prone regions in Asia.
