L'impression 3D s'est beaucoup développée ces dernières années et a trouvé de nombreuses applications dans le domaine de la pédagogie universitaire, notamment en odontologie. Objectif : le but de notre thèse a été de développer et d'évaluer un modèle de travail imprimé en 3D pour les travaux pratiques d'endodontie pédiatrique. Matériel et méthode : des modèles ont été imprimés puis testés par 30 étudiants de 5ème et 6ème année d'odontologie de la Faculté de Toulouse lors d'un TP innovant. Les participants ont répondu à deux questionnaires qui ont été analysés. Résultats : ces résultats ont montré que les étudiants sont fortement intéressés pour inclure dans leur formation des modèles 3D pour diminuer leur stress et leur appréhension à l'entrée en clinique.

La conception et la fabrication par impression 3D ont investi le monde de l'odontologie et peuvent aujourd'hui être mis à profit dans la pédagogie. Cette thèse a pour objectif de faire évoluer les supports pédagogiques en odontologie pédiatrique grâce à la modélisation et les outils d'impression disponibles au sein de l'UFR3Sodontologie. En numérisant les supports pédagogiques actuels à l'aide du CBCT, il est possible de modéliser différentes situations cliniques par la simulation de cavités pulpaires, lésions carieuses et de pertes de substances traumatiques. Cette étape numérique nécessite différents logiciels jusqu'à obtenir une version prête à l'impression. Le processus fabrication des supports commence par l'impression et passe par plusieurs étapes de désinfection et de polymérisation avant de pouvoir être utilisés. Ce projet ayant abouti à l'échelle d'un modèle pédagogique, il serait intéressant d'évaluer la faisabilité d'une production à plus grande échelle en prenant en compte l'intérêt pédagogique et les contraintes de fabrication. Cette thèse a permis la conception d'un groupe de dent temporaires et définitives en résine qui met en situation l'étudiant dans sa phase pré-clinique en odontologie pédiatrique, lui permettant l'acquisition de compétences pour sa pratique future.

Au cours de la formation préclinique, le développement des compétences théoriques et procédurales complexes sont acquises par les étudiants à l'aide de simulations réalisées au travers de travaux pratiques. Concernant l'odontologie restauratrice, les modèles de dents en plastique monoblocs traditionnellement utilisés ne permettent pas de soutenir la formation des étudiants à la prise en charge actuelle des lésions carieuses. Depuis quelques années, des modèles de dents artificielles imprimés en 3D commencent à voir le jour. Dans ce travail de thèse, nous chercherons à améliorer et à évaluer de nouveaux modèles de dents artificielles imprimés en 3D. Après avoir présenté les modèles et avancées précédemment réalisés par le Dr Gattoni durant son travail de thèse d'exercice, nous présenterons les différents axes d'amélioration que nous pourrions réaliser. Dans la troisième partie, nous réaliserons une revue systématique de la littérature afin de recenser les propositions de modèles pédagogiques imprimés en 3D qui ont été évalués. Enfin, nous présenterons le développement de modèles de dents artificielles améliorés et les résultats de leur évaluation par des étudiants de l'École de Médecine Dentaire de Marseille.

The invasive character of a primary cancer is greatly dependent on numerous interactions between tumor cells and their extracellular surroundings. Matricellular receptors are defined as (cell-surface) receptors that bind extracellular matrix (ECM) structural proteins and soluble factors dynamically acting on ECM homeostasis. Matricellular receptors mediate numerous signalings from the extracellular environment to cell nucleus and drive main biological functions that are cell growth, survival and migration. Numerous data from the last decade evidence that matricellular receptors are biosensors that allow to a tumor cell answering to microenvironmental variations, and in this sense they are important contributors to tumor cell malignancy. Matricellular receptors represent thus valuable targets for the development of original anti-cancer strategies. Original reports, bibliographic reviews or hypotheses are welcome to improve the basic knowledge of matricellular receptor properties, their spatio-temporal regulation, the dynamic formation of complex receptors and the impact of such interactions on the invasive properties of tumor cells.
