Cette étude sur les othématomes du chien est composée d’une partie bibliographique sur l’anatomie auriculaire, les othématomes et leur thérapeutique et d’une partie expérimentale pour évaluer l’efficacité d’un traitement reposant sur une injection de DEPOMEDROL nd, à 2mg/kg, dans la cavité. Les résultats obtenus sont satisfaisants : la moitié des chiens est guérie en un traitement. L’autre moitié ne nécessite qu’une ponction simple pour que l’othématome soit résolu.
