Des déterminations expérimentales des conditions (p,t) d'équilibres de phases liquide-vapeur et liquide-liquide ont été conduites au sein d'une cellule saphir a visibilité intégrale a diverses températures comprises entre 293 et 423 k pour des pressions allant jusqu'a 500 bar sur le système ternaire c#1-co#2##nc#1#6. l'influence d'un apport d'eau sur les courbes d'équilibres de ce système a également fait l'objet d'investigations. En vue de représenter les équilibres de phase des fluides a partir d'équations d'état de forme cubique, qu'elles soient a deux, trois ou quatre paramètres, une méthode générale de calcul du coefficient de fugacité a été développée a partir du formalisme de Schmidt et Wenzel. Sur la base de ces équations d'état cubiques, une procédure globale de restitution des équilibres de phases de paraffine, de co#2, d'eau et de leurs mélanges a été mise au point. L'équation retenue pour cette procédure est celle de Peng-Robinson a laquelle il a été apporte des modifications. La première modification, concernant le terme d'attraction de l'équation d'état, permet une bonne représentation des transitions des corps purs, y compris de l'eau et des alcanes lourds (c#1#0 a c#2#0). La seconde modification consiste a faire intervenir une règle de mélange empirique spécifique aux mélanges d'eau et de paraffines dans la perspective de calculer les solubilités mutuelles de l'eau et des alcanes. On obtient également des résultats très satisfaisants pour les mélanges paraffine-paraffine et paraffines-co#2 en caractérisant les interactions binaires par des coefficients k#1#j évalués au moyen d'un formalisme de type contribution de groupes. L'intérêt essentiel de la modélisation ainsi définie est de permettre l'estimation prédictive des équilibres polyphasiques de ces mélanges fort dissymétriques; l'efficacité de la procédure alliée a une relative simplicite d'emploi constitue des critèr1es déterminants, susceptibles d'infléchir le choix d'utilisateurs potentiels.
