Book Description
Welcome to this wonderful audiobook where you will learn, throughout history and today, about the relationship between the use of cannabis and sexuality. Sexuality is one of the most relevant aspects in the life of the human being, besides being the primordial factor to carry out reproduction, it provides the unique characteristics to each gender; being thus closely related to biochemical, genetic, and physiological factors that give rise to the characterization of each individual. Sexuality is conditioned by these biological factors and undoubtedly by psychological, cultural, and social elements. However, sexuality is the product of an intricate biochemical process that begins in the brain, where a great diversity of responses that generate sexual desire are triggered, then spreading through the network of peripheral nerves to the genitals and other organs, where the signs and symptoms of arousal manifest. For humans, one of the most sought out pleasures is arousal and achieving the most incredible climax. This is why, since ancient times, the use of supplements to improve the quality of their sexuality has derived in the use of various techniques and products to intensify or prolong sexual intercourse. The cannabis plant is one of the supplements associated with sexuality since ancient times. Cannabis has been used throughout history not only as a medicinal plant but also as a potent aphrodisiac. Nowadays, the knowledge of how the endocannabinoid system works, as it exists in our organism and how relates to the plant; has helped explain this phenomenon that makes cannabis and its derivatives, an attractive alternative to integrate into sexual life.. You will also learn about the anatomical aspects of the male and female sexual organs and the hormonal system that regulates the behaviors and sensations involved in sexuality. We will explore together interesting topics, such as the physiology of the path to orgasm and how cannabis can create new and intense sensations, both physically and emotionally. You will surely want to learn more about this wonderful process and how you can integrate it to make each experience unique. Pharmacology University shares with you through this audiobook, why cannabis for years has been considered a potent aphrodisiac that many cultures have preserved and treasured since ancient times.

Book Description
When WILHELM RUHLAND developed his plan for an Encyclopedia of Plant Physiol ogy more than three decades ago, biology could still be conveniently subdivided into classical areas. Even within plant physiology, subdivisions were not too difficult to make, and general principles could be covered sufficiently in the two introductory volumes of the Encyclopedia on the physical and chemical basis of cell biology. But the situation changed rapidly even during the 12-year publication period of the Encyclopedia (1955-1967). The new molecular direction of genetics and structural research on biopolymers had an integrating effect on all other biological fields, including plant physiology, and it became increasingly difficult to keep previously distinct areas separated. RUHLAND'S overall plan included 18 volumes and about 22,000 pages. It covered the entire field of plant physiology, in most cases from the very beginning. But, as each volume appeared, it was clear that its content would soon be outdated.
