Book Description
The aspiration of this unique book is to give the future back to our children and their children. True love and emotions that enlightens everyone’s heart and mind will soon come again into the hearts of this world. Our emotions and broken souls are the voices of one crying out from their imprisonment. I have come to realize I can write with a conscious spirit. The emotions of my subconscious heart have become the translator of my soul. I am not afraid to tell humanity of my emotions and tribulation of my life. Facing these fears on paper helped me to climb out of cesspools and anger. Hopefully and knowing my inscription will expose some inner impressions that others find difficult to release. Every day we make thousands of choices and the quality of loving is determine by the maturity of each choice we make. Remember that our spirit is always with us even though we may not feel its existence or notice it. The emotions of my heart have no memories just brief glances within the soul. All my life I have dealt with lady luck and no love. These gathered poems as they are here, they are a testimonial to the power of love and to present a tapestry of emotions of the soul.

The Sorrow of Angels
Author: Jon Kalman Stefansson
Publisher: MacLehose Press
ISBN: 1623654718
Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 246
Book Description
It is three weeks since the boy came to town, carrying a book of poetry to return to the old sea captain-the poetry Bárour died for. Three weeks, but already Bárour's ghost has faded. Snow falls so heavily that it binds heaven and earth together. As the villagers gather in the inn to drink schnapps and coffee while the boy reads to them from Hamlet, Jens the postman stumbles in half-dead, having almost frozen to his horse. On his next journey to the fjords Jens is accompanied by the boy, and both must risk their lives for each other, and for an unusual item of mail. The Sorrow of Angels is a timeless and powerful story that evokes the struggle of man against the ferocious majesty of nature. Asked by The Independent what inspired him to write these three novels, Stefánsson named his first visit to the landscape of Iceland's West Fjords. "It was like a punch in the solar plexus . . . The mountains seemed to be saying, 'Why aren't you writing about us?"

The War Angels
Author: Ronald L. Gaiser

ISBN: 1491834897
Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 335
Book Description
In a remote village, high in the snow-capped mountains of southern Poland, during the worst winter of World War II, a beautiful polish woman presiding over the village peasants, a brute of a partisan leader, and an outlaw priest with a mysterious past, are hiding a ragtag band of Jewish children escaped from an accidental death train wreck. During a Bible lesson, the priest, who is actually a Jewish doctor disguised as a man of the cloth, tells the children the Old Testament story of Elisha. God sent His special War Angels to protect the children of Israel from the attacking Syrian army he said. The children ask the priest to pray with them for War Angels, like in the Bible story, to protect them from the relentless Nazi madman searching for their capture. Miraculously, an American B-17 bomber carrying a tough crew of battered flyers from a deep penetration raid over Germany, crash lands directly next to the village. The children and villagers renew their faith in God, believing the Americans to be; the answer to prayer, and...The War Angels. In the end, most realized, only the hand of God could have brought all these people, and seemingly unrelated threads of circumstance into that perilously precise moment in time. Together, through their heroic faith, they persevere against the onslaught of evil Satanic forces
