Book Description
The Ozark Mountains in Missouri and Arkansas have had a long history of foraging since indigenous tribes such as the Osage, Quapaw, and Kickapoo sporadically inhabited the area and utilized the rich natural resources. Settlers from the Appalachians came later and survived on what they could find, trap, and hunt. Foraging remains a major activity among the Ozarks’ outdoor community, supported in large part by established local restaurateurs and other buyers of wild herbs, berries, and nuts. Foraging the Ozarks, written by local wilderness expert Bo Brown, highlights about a hundred commonly found edibles in the Interior Highlands, from ubiquitous herbs to endemic species. With sidebars, recipes, helpful tips, and toxin warnings throughout, Foraging the Ozarks is the only guidebook the Ozark outdoor enthusiast will need to pick it, cook it, and eat it.

Book Description
Rods and Wings, A History of the Fishing Lodge Business in Bristol Bay, Alaska, is a story filled with vision, humor, irony, tragedy, hardship, tremendous courage, and people. This story is especially about people, hardy pioneers who challenged Alaska through the air, on the lakes and rivers, and over the tundra. The first lodge developers came by plane; the materials they needed came later by barge, by air, and across the ice. Nothing was simple. Nothing came easily From General Omar Bradley, Dwight Eisenhower, and Adlai Stevensen in the early days to Jack Lemmon, John Elway, and General Norman Scwarzkopf in more recent times, the guests have been as fascinating as the lodge owners themselves. The history of the lodges is about much more than fishing. It is about challenging a formidable wilderness and opening new frontiers. This is an enthralling saga which will capture the attention of readers everywhere.

Book Description
This book is a grammar of Kalamang, a Papuan language of western New Guinea in the east of Indonesia. It is spoken by around 130 people in the villages Mas and Antalisa on the biggest of the Karas Islands, which lie just off the coast of Bomberai Peninsula. This work is the first comprehensive grammar of a Papuan language in the Bomberai area. It is based on eleven months of fieldwork. The primary source of data is a corpus of more than 15 hours of spoken Kalamang recorded and transcribed between 2015 and 2019. This grammar covers a wide range of topics beyond a phonological and morphosyntactic description, including prosody, narrative styles, and information structure. More than 1000 examples illustrate the analyses, and are where possible taken from naturalistic spoken Kalamang. The descriptive approach in this grammar is informed by current linguistic theory, but is not driven by any specific school of thought. Comparison to other West Bomberai or eastern Indonesian languages is taken into account whenever it is deemed helpful. Kalamang has several typologically interesting features, such as unpredictable stress, minimalistic give-constructions consisting of just two pronouns, aspectual markers that follow the subject, and the NP and predicate – rather than the noun and verb – as important domains of attachment. This grammar is accompanied by an openly accessible archive of linguistic and cultural material and a dictionary with 2700 lemmas. It serves as a document of one of the world's many endangered languages.

The two men, Bo Salmon and Teddy Bear Mulkey attempted multiple times to murder Junior. In a few short months, they tried numerous times to accomplish the task, attempting an overdose, hiring a sleepy accomplice, setting a car on fire with Junior inside and finally shooting him at close range. The other person who benefitted from Junior's death was his own mother who became $40,000 richer. Although many fingers were pointed in Margaret's direction including the fact her first husband, Junior's father, died under mysterious circumstances, she walked away a free woman.
