We were paid above the minimum wage!In less than six months, we were able to make a contribution to the Canadian education savings program for our kids.In less than two years, we were able to buy our own home.More than luck, I believe that our mindset coupled with our actions made this happen, and I would like to share them with you.In the past six years, I have gathered lessons and experiences that can make living and settling in Canada, easier and faster. A lot of these I wish I had known before we landed in Canada. Most were not taught in Canadian orientations we attended . Most we had to figure out on our own.You might think that getting a job is just about sending resumes to as many companies as you can.
