Book Description
Writing "at the age of nearly 92" (see p. 125), Collier devotes half of his account to his forebears and his early years, but gives details of his later scholarly and literary career and of his patrons, friends, and associates. The whole is in Collier's autograph, with several small alterations and corrections by his son, John Pycroft Collier. An autograph letter by the latter discusses the autobiography and suggests corrections in fact.
