Although the success of our schools depends largely upon the teachers, yet they cannot do justice, either to themselves or to the pupils, unless we avail ourselves of every genuine aid to and method for developing in the youth the power to observe, to reason and to acquire a love for knowledge. Among some of the improvements that it is desirable to make, one is the introduction of school globes, representing the world. We consider a globe in every district a very necessary article, and can we as a community, interested in all that pertains to the best modes of education, invest a few dollars that will pay us a greater dividend.
